October Don’t Miss’ems

15th:

Gary Geddes will be presenting in room 5-305. Geddes is a Canadian author and editor from the west coast of Canada. He has written and edited over forty books including 17 books of poetry. His post secondary education was gained at the University of British Columbia and the University of Toronto where he received his MA and PhD in English. He has taught English and creative writing at Concordia, the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and the University of Victory. He was awarded the Freedom to Read Award in 2018 for his work in support of the freedom of expression.

17th:

Bolotie Collective Volume IV launch. In the Feigel Center in building 11 from six to eight. There will be contributor readings, speakers, and opportunities for signatures of contributing authors and editors. Snacks and beverages available. Come and help us celebrate this amazing piece of work the MacEwan students and alumni have authored and produced.

23rd:

The first Bolo Poetry Workshop for the year. Time and place to be determined yet but stay posted it will be available soon.

30th:

Our monthly workshop with a spooky theme. Get into your most twisted headspace and join us for a workshop you can, and can’t, imagine. Held from six to eight in the English Seminar room. Building 6 room 267
