This weekend we are encouraging you to think about talents. You’re a talented writer. Consider what else you’re good at or wish you were good at.

Poetry: Write a poem about a unique or unusual talent you have. Alternatively, write about a talent you wish you had.
Creative non-fiction: Write a story about an unusual talent you or someone you know has. Go in depth about how your character developed this talent and write about people’s reactions when they see this talent in action.
Fiction: Write a story about a character with secret magical abilities, but everyone confuses their magic with talent. Maybe their magical ability is that they’re an exceptional singer, but in reality, what sounds like music to others is your character casting a spell. Get creative with different kinds of magical abilities and how they can be mistaken for mortal talents.
